Alex joined Agentis Capital Mining Partners at its start in 2019 and has 15 years of capital markets and mining experience ranging from investment banking to mine development. Alex’s select transaction experience includes acting as sell-side advisor to AuRico Metals on their C$310m sale to Centerra Gold, acting as sell-side advisor to Richmont Mines on their C$936m sale to Alamos Gold, and advising Silver Standard on their C$337m acquisition of Claude Resources.
Prior to Agentis, Alex worked at Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. (2016 - 2019) and Imperial Metals Corporation (2008 - 2014).
Alex holds a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University (Finance) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta (Political Science + Economics).
