Arturo Recio is a distinguished investment banking professional with over 25 years of experience advising large corporates, pension and infrastructure funds, and government clients on a broad range of strategic, M&A, capital markets, and financing mandates in the Real Assets sector.

Previously, Arturo served as Co-Head of the Infrastructure and Real Estate Group at HSBC, where he led the advisory, sector coverage, and financing products within the Global Banking division, and was a member of its Global Management Committee. Prior to this, Arturo worked in the Corporate Finance department of Citibank NA in Argentina, covering advisory, DCM, PEF, and acquisition finance products for clients in the power and utilities, consumer and retail, and infrastructure sectors.

Arturo has an impressive record of notable transactions, including his role as Advisor in 5 transactions involving BAA and Heathrow airport, Advisor to Abu Dhabi Invest and minority shareholders on the divestment in AIG (Jordan), Advisor to F2i on its equity sell-down of F2i Aeroporti, and Advisor to BAA on the Gatwick Airport sale to GIP, JGC, and JBR. He has also advised on landmark IPOs in the sector such as ADP, ASF, John Laing, TAV, Biffa, Spie, Saeta Yield, and Aena.

Arturo is a highly educated professional, holding a Master of Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (Exchange Programme at SDA Bocconi) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration (Cum Laude) from The George Washington University.
